Kathleen is a Registered Nurse, Pranashakthi Mahavidya Level One, Reiki Master Teacher, Tai Chi and Qi Gong Practice Leader (Medical Qi Gong).  She also holds certifications in Sound Therapy, Meditation and Mindfulness for Adults and Children, EFT & TFT, Vacuum Cupping, Hopi Ear Candling and Sensory Processing Disorders through The International Alliance of Holistic Therapist. She is also a member of The American Holistic Nursing Association and is licensed as an RN in MA and NH. Kathleen is the owner of Jivana which she started in 2014 and is now working full time as an energy healer.  She started playing Crystal and Himalayan bowls in 2014 and has now Incorporated tuning forks and gongs into her energy healing sessions. Kathleen DBA Jivana Holistic Nursing Service, Offers Reiki 1, 2 and Master level instruction and attunements. Also offered services-Energy Healing sessions using Reiki, Sound and Vibrational Therapy with use of tuning forks as well as other sound and vibrational instruments for Chakra clearing and other physical Dis Ease.  Jivana Holistic Nursing Service originally started in 2014 and emphasized on Reiki and custom sewn meditation supplies. Kathleen sews custom Zafu’s (Meditation cushion, sitapon), Zabuton’s, Sound Bath Mats and eye pillows among many other custom items.

Kathleen is a graduate of both Mount Wachusett Community College 1992 and Fitchburg State College 1998 with a Baccalaureate of Science in Nursing and holds minors in both Biology and Psychology. She spent the first 25 plus years in nursing working in Home Health and Hospice. Some of her nursing specialties included Psychiatric, Geriatrics, Pediatrics and Maternal Child Health.  After many years of watching patients being solely cared for with traditional Western medicine, treating people as isolated entities she knew she needed to do something else. In fact, people exist within a matrix of family, friends, jobs, homes, neighborhoods, geographical areas, and psychological and cultural environments and beliefs, all of which can influence health and disease. East meets West seemed to be what was needed to treat the person as whole!

Kathleen is a mother of one grown daughter and cares for her elderly mother. She enjoys learning new holistic modalities, drawing, kayaking, swimming, camping and sewing as well as cooking, yoga and meditation, friends and good conversation. Traveling is a passion and a recent trip to Bali where she spent a couple days alone in Denpasar in the fabric district to hand pick fabrics for meditation supplies. While in Bali she climbed a volcano, Mount Batur to watch the Sunrise as well as visiting many Hindu temples and sacred areas in Indonesia.
